Default From Email Address Settings

To send emails from Springbot, you’ll need to verify a domain specific Default From Email Address and verify that email.

Updated over a week ago

Navigate to the top right-hand corner of the app > Settings to verify your default email address. This is the email address you will send your emails from and will be seen by your customers.

Then go to email campaigns on the left vavigation bar to open your email settings.

Your From email address must be from your store's domain.

When sending an email, it's important to have a unique domain that is relevant to your store. For this reason, domains such as Yahoo.com and Gmail.com are not permitted and will not be verified by Springbot as a proper From email address.

These domains specifically say that you cannot send multiple emails out on their behalf. This is to prevent email address spoofing commonly used in spam and phishing attacks. We encourage you to send from your own domain name as it improves your brand recognition and helps establish you as a legitimate email sender (which helps keep your emails out of the SPAM folder!)

If you don't have an email in your store's domain, you can create one using:

-GSuite

-Godaddy

-Shopify

Email Verification

You'll receive an email from the from email address you’ve entered. When you receive this email, you will need to open and click the button inside to verify your address. This is a very important step - you cannot send emails from Springbot until this address has been verified!

If you don’t see the verification email in your inbox within a few minutes, please check your spam/junk folder.

Verify by clicking the button in the email. Once you’ve verified you’ll be able to send email campaigns from Springbot. If you still don't see the verification email come through after an hour, please reach out to help@springbot.com for assistance.
