Registration Requirements for Springbot

To ensure a secure and seamless onboarding experience we verify store authenticity, email validity, and compliance.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

At Springbot, we strive to ensure a secure and seamless experience for all our users. To maintain the integrity of our platform and comply with email marketing regulations, new registrations must meet the following requirements when filling out the sign-up form.

Required Information

To successfully register for a Springbot account, you will need to provide:

  • Store URL – The full website address of your online store.

  • Customer/Contact Email – A valid business email address associated with your store.

Verification Checks

To ensure security, compliance, and functionality, we conduct the following checks during registration:

1. Secure Website

Your store must have a valid SSL certificate (HTTPS). We require this to protect customer data and ensure a safe browsing experience.

2. Website Accessibility

Your website must be live and accessible. If your site returns an error (e.g., "Page Not Found" or "Server Error"), registration cannot proceed.

3. Safe Email Domain

Your email domain must not be flagged as unsafe or unapproved. We block certain domains to prevent fraudulent sign-ups and ensure legitimate business use.

4. Domain Matching

The domain of your store’s website must match the domain of your contact email address. This helps verify your identity and ensures compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations, confirming you are an authenticated sender.

Example:
Accepted: Store URL: www.mystore.com | Contact Email: yourname@mystore.com
Not Accepted: Store URL: www.mystore.com | Contact Email: yourname@gmail.com

5. Email Verification

The contact email address must pass our verification check. This ensures your email is a valid, safe, and active business email that can be used for marketing communications.

Recommended Ecommerce Platforms

Springbot is designed for ecommerce businesses, and we highly recommend that your store operates on a supported platform such as:

  • Shopify

  • WooCommerce

  • BigCommerce

While other platforms may work, Springbot’s features and integrations are optimized for these ecommerce solutions.

Why do I see “Access Blocked” on the Billing Page?

If you see an Access Blocked banner, it usually means one or more of our Verification Checks were not passed during registration.

These checks are in place to ensure security, compliance, and functionality, and include:

  • Your website must be secure (HTTPS), live, and accessible.

  • Your contact email domain must not be flagged as unsafe or unapproved.

  • The domain of your store’s website must match the domain of your contact email address.

  • Your contact email address must pass our verification process.

How to fix it:

  1. Confirm that your website and email meet the above requirements.

  2. Once everything is in good standing, reach out to our team at help@springbot.com with your details.

  3. We’ll double-check your information and lift the block so you can proceed with your subscription.
