Springbot's Instagram Shop feature allows you to transform your customer's Instagram experience to make it easier for them to shop products on your site. This also allows you to easily track clicks and revenue generated from your Instagram account.

Go To Your Instagram Shop Page

Go to Social at the top of your dashboard, and then select Instagram Shop.

Add Posts & Tag Products

To the left hand side, click Add Item.

On the next page, you will have two different choices of how to bring in images for your Instagram page:

Instagram Posts

With this option, you can choose one of your images you've posted to Instagram, and then choose which product(s) you want to "tag" in the image. When searching, you'll be able to search through your entire product catalog to add items, and you can add multiple products if needed.

Once you're finished, click Save Item in the top right.

Products

This option allows you to search through your product catalog and add items. The image displayed will be the default product image you have saved in your store.

Once you're finished, click Save Item in the top right.

You'll then see your newly added image on the main Instagram page on the left hand side, and will also the any products you've tagged with that image.

Next to each image, you will notice 3 blue icons:

  • Lock - When you choose to "lock" the image that means the image will remain in its current place on the landing page, even if other images are moved around.

    • If you have an image that features a product that is a best-seller, you can lock the image so that it always remains the first image on your Instagram landing page.

  • Edit - When you choose the edit or "pencil" icon you will have the ability to edit the products tagged in the image.

  • Delete - When you select the "X" icon you will be deleting this image from your Instagram landing page.

After making any changes, be sure to click Save and reload to save your work and refresh the preview in the mobile phone on screen!

Content

When you scroll down, you will see the Content section on the left hand side. Springbot adds default verbiage for your page automatically, but you can edit this section to make it more branded.

On the far right of your screen you will see a phone preview. As you are making changes, you can look to the phone to see how your changes are rendering to see if you need to make additional edits.

  • Shop Title - We recommend putting your store name here

  • Shop Subtitle - If you have a tagline or subtitle of your store, you can place this here

  • Shop Subtitle Alignment - Choose Left, Center, or Right aligned

  • Welcome Header - Greet your visitor with a short hello!

  • Welcome Blurb - Tell visitors a little bit about your store, or simply let them know they can click on an image below to shop more on your site.

  • Reminder Header and Reminder Blurb - This will appear if someone clicks "Remind Me" on one of the images.

    • This is only visible / enabled if you have the Reminder Triggered Emails turned ON.

  • See More Blurb - This is a little note that will appear about the "View Full Site" button at the bottom of your Instagram landing page.

  • Logo - This should be a square image, and it will automatically be resized to 50x50 px.

  • Background Image - Optional feature you can use to make your page stand out more!

  • Background Effect - Options of Stretched, Tiled, or None

After making any changes, be sure to click Save and reload to save your work!

Design

Next to the Content section, you will see Design. This allows you to customize all of the colors across your landing page.

On the far right of your screen you will see a phone preview. As you are making changes, you can look to the phone to see how your changes are rendering to see if you need to make additional edits.

You can click Advanced Editor to edit using Custom CSS if you prefer (Note - Custom CSS will override all other values in basic editor. This feature is only intended for customer with advanced CSS experience.)

After making any changes, be sure to click Save and reload to save your work!

Instagram Shop Modes

Springbot gives you 3 "Shop Mode" options - these will decide how Springbot interacts with the content posted on your store's Instagram.

  • Static - You will be able to to individually select the images from your Instagram account that you would like to post to your Instagram Shop landing page.

  • Streaming - Springbot will automatically add all new images from your Instagram account to your Advanced Instagram landing page and default them to link to your website homepage (you can edit this to link to a product page instead).

  • Streaming with Pending - All images posted to your Instagram account will automatically be pulled into your Springbot dashboard. You will have the ability to choose which images you would like to post to your Instagram landing page as well as tag any products featured in the images.

Post Your Instagram Link to Your Instagram Account

After you've made your changes and you're ready to make your page visible to your shoppers, scroll to the top of your page where you will see your branded Instagram link highlighted in green.

Simply copy + paste this link to your Instagram bio in the website field. Instructions can be found here.

Now when customers come to your Instagram account, they will see your Instagram Shop link and can click to be taken to this landing page!
