Help convert readers into buyers with embedded product listings. You can embed up to two of your Shopify products and/or product collections in your articles to drive readers to your product pages, and more seamlessly connect content and commerce.

Adding product listings as you publish

As you publish new licensed or original articles from Matcha, you’ll see the option to customize embedded product listings as part of the editing process.

For licensed content:

  1. Click an article you’d like to publish and click “Start publishing.”

  2. Fill out any article customization (you have the option to change the title, add pre or post-article blurbs, change the feature image) and click “Continue.”

  3. Use the toggle to turn on one, or both, product listings. Select the product, or product collection, you'd like to embed from the drop-down menu.

  4. Further customize your product listing by selecting the placement, visible product fields, product title & description, and CTA. You can configure global Product Listings settings in the Settings page of your Matcha account.

  5. Once you’ve made your selections (and previewed them on the left), you may hit “Continue” and finish publishing your article.

For original content:

  1. Create a new post by clicking the "Create new post" button in your My Content page.

  2. Choose the template you'd like to use, or start with a Blank Slate.

  3. Draft the article, and continue through the Image and Meta sections until you reach Tools.

  4. Use the toggle to turn on one, or both, product listings. Select the product, or product collection, you'd like to embed from the drop-down menu.

  5. Further customize your product listing by selecting the placement, visible product fields, product title & description, and CTA. You can configure global Product Listings settings in the Settings page of your Matcha account.

  6. Once you’ve made your selections (and previewed them on the left), you may hit “Continue” and finish publishing your article.
