Once setup is completed, you can expect your first email in 3-5 business days.
What should I have prepared before the call begins?
Come to your first call with a list of products and images you would like to be featured in your ads. You can provide this information to your Services Manager by emailing them directly, or by sending a Dropbox or Google Drive link.
How long until I see a return on investment?
Return is different for everyone and it depends on many factors including:

How often will I be meeting with my Campaign Services Manager?
After your welcome call, most communication with your manager will be done via email. You will receive a monthly performance report with recommendations and changes that your manager thinks would benefit your ads.
What is a lookalike audience?
Very generally, a lookalike audience is a way to reach new people who are likely to be interested in your business because they're similar to your best existing customers. Lookalike audiences take into account demographic data such as location, age, gender, and interests.
How has the iOS 14 update affected the current advertising metrics?
Starting in 2021, Apple initiated a new policy that prohibits certain data collection and sharing unless people opt into tracking on iOS 14 devices via a prompt. This update directly impacts ad personalizations and performance reporting. As a result, iOS 14 devices have limited Facebook Ads functionality and tracking for app and web conversion events are greatly reduced.
The iOS 14 update is why your ROAS may not be as significant as it used to be, and why MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio) is the new recommended way to track your marketing efforts.
Media Efficiency Ratio (MER) = Total Revenue / Total Paid Media Spend. Simply put, it’s a more holistic way to gauge performance. For example, if you spent $2,000 on Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and Instagram ads combined in one month, and you make $10,000 in that same month, the MER is 5. Big picture: You made more than you spent!
How can I best track my ad performance?
Set up aggregated events set up within your Commerce Manager in Facebook.
Use UTM links within your ads.
What is the difference between a traffic campaign and a conversion campaign?
Traffic campaigns show potential new customers your ads with the goal of increasing website traffic. These kinds of ads are top of funnel (TOFU) - very helpful with introducing new potential customers to your brand - but do not often result in concrete sales. It usually takes many more touchpoints before someone purchases.
Conversion campaigns show existing customers and potential customers that have shown interest in your brand your ads with the goal of generating purchases.
Do I need to be the owner of my Business Manager if I am already an admin?
Yes. If you are not the owner of the account, make sure to have access to the account owner’s Facebook.
How often should I be updating my ads?
Not often. Your ads are constantly being shown to new people so having a few, great evergreen ads is more important than constantly updating them. Ads should really only be updating if the current ones do not seem to be performing well, you are running a promotion, or making seasonal updates.
Why are my ads showing “out of stock?”
If you are running dynamic ads, out of stock items can appear if you have not removed them from your Facebook product catalog.
Why did my Facebook ad get rejected?
Facebook has a long list of restricted and prohibited content that cannot be used in ads. Such as:
Illegal products or services.
Weapons and ammunition.
Adult content with nudity or suggestive imaging.
Misinformation or sensational content.
Profane or grammatically poor content.
Ads with malware.
Ads promoting predatory business practices, like multi level marketing.
What should my daily ad budget be?
We recommend starting at $5-$10/day and increasing from there. Each ad should have at least $2 allocated towards it per day.
How do I insert payment info into Facebook?
Open your Business Manager and select your Ad Account. In the top right corner, select the arrow and then “View Payment Methods” then “Add Payment Method” and insert your card.
How do I remove my account spending limit?
Open your Business Manager and select your Ad Account. In the top right corner, select the arrow and then “View Payment Methods” then “Account Spending Limit” to remove the limit.
