As of mid October 2018, Facebook is requiring that all stores that want to advertise using Custom Audiences must do so using a Business Manager account.
Business Manager is a tool that allows you to oversee all of your Facebook assets in one place. It doesn’t cost any money or require you to do any extra maintenance outside of initially setting it up.
Below are the steps to create a Business Manager account, tie your current Facebook assets to it (your page + ad account), then provide Springbot with the appropriate access.
Step 1 - Create a Business Manager Account
Go to business.facebook.com.
Click Create Account.
Enter a name for your business, select the primary Page and enter your name and work email address.
Move through the rest of the onboarding flow by entering the rest of the required fields.
